RADICALSUPPORT
An inverted root system supports a massive solid-wood top, and it is precisely this tension between mass and lightness, solid and void, that gives the table its identity.

A solid wood top of great thickness and size carries an almost primal physical presence.
Supporting it demands a structural system capable of exerting an equivalent force without replicating its mass.
Out of this necessity emerges a structure that turns to the vegetal world, and in particular to the silent intelligence of roots: systems that expand, branch, and grow rarefied, concentrating matter and resistance where they are needed and leaving voids where they are not.
A logic of natural optimization, in which maximum structural efficiency coincides with a minimum of matter.

In the table, this logic becomes visible.
The support is not concealed but transformed into an essential geometry, almost a drawing suspended in space: a network of slender elements branching beneath the great wooden surface, rendering its weight legible precisely through contrast with its own lightness.
The structure becomes, in effect, an inverted root system, no longer buried in the earth but exposed to view.
Its transparent geometries support without intruding, grow rarefied without losing strength, and through their very slenderness heighten the massive, compact, impenetrable quality of the top.

It is in the dialogue between these two conditions (mass and rarefaction, strength and lightness, solid and void) that the table discovers its identity.
